
Dr. Mehrzad Saeedikiya is a researcher at the School of Management, Queensland University of Technology, and he currently serves as the Associate Editor for the Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies.
Mehrzad holds a master's degree from the University of Milan, which he received in 2019, and a PhD from Queensland University of Technology. He has held teaching and research positions at Tsinghua University (visiting researcher), Queensland University of Technology (Sessional Academic), Australian Catholic University, and The University of Queensland (Course Facilitator). Thanks to QUT’s academic leadership in the Entrepreneurship domain, Mehrzad looks for opportunities to learn and research in this area. His research at QUT connects the ongoing conversation in Information Systems (IS) and Entrepreneurship domains regarding the interplay of digital transformation and innovation. In his research, Mehrzad considers how dynamic capabilities emerge, interact with other firm capabilities, and translate to the companies’ innovative and sustainable performance.

Mehrzad has worked on two research projects related to the External Enablers Framework, one of which has been published in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research.

At the EE community, Mehrzad serves as the Research Community Developer (Volunteer), dealing with research on EE, managing their visibility and online circulation through the community's social media and website, and engaging with EE researchers to foster a more interactive community of scholars.
